Sit back and digest the excellent view of Edinburgh Castle and its environs through the expansive windows. There is a wide selection of snacks and the huge Waterstones bookshop downstairs, so this outlet makes a good refueling point after leafing through the books. Whatever you think of the somewhat ridiculous American corporate jargon (e.g. iced-latte with wings) the coffee in every branch of Starbucks the world over is equally good.
