From a Chinese

Staying in Glasgow, Edinburgh is always a good day escape. Had a really lovely day in Edinburgh touring around, feeling like I was on a holiday.
Being a Chinese, sometimes I do crave for authentic Chinese food. Having read the reviews from this website, Lune seemed to be a good choice since it never had a bad review yet.
Sorry I might start this. For a Chinese who enjoys all kinds of food, the food in Lune is just your average local take away, the only difference is you are paying a much higher price.
The veg was fried with oyster sauce, which is standard western 'Chinese' cooking. The satay chicken is chicken with sauce from a tin or can. Nothing exciting or particular about the food.
But the service is really good, the waitress is very attentive and quick, 10 seconds after we were done, she cleaned the table (my partner has made a mess using the slippering plastic chopsticks).
If you are Chinese, please don't go, it will just be a disappointment. But if you are a westerner and used to the 'Chinese' food you are getting, not a bad place for the ususal stuff.
