Tapas Ole

Description

A good place for group dining, Tapas Ole tends to attract an up-for-a-laugh crowd and this serves to compound the fiesta atmosphere. Its traditional menu offers sharp flavours and the lively spirit of a Matador's home-coming party. Service is attentive and there is a huge range of tasty little tapas dishes to try in a variety of serving sizes. There are plentiful vegetarian options too, which is part of the enduring appeal of this type of food. If you're really lucky, the resident guitarist will be around to add a musical touch to your meal.

Good good excellent!!!!
By ,
Just like the overview says "a good place for group dining". Summer of this year my cousins and i decided to visit our aunt and this place was immediately recommended to us. The fiesta atmosphere suited us very well. Its menu as my cousin said "gives sharp flavours" i dont know bout that but one thing's for sure our meal was D-E-L-I-C-I-O-S-O-! During our visit our aunt told us to go that friday night to make sure that the guitarist are playing and so that's what we did. It was amazing! La msica y el alimento, una gran combinacin!

Best restaurant in town
By ,
My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Spain so have been on a mission to find a very traditional tapas eaterie ever since. This place came highly recommeneded so we checked it out and were not disappointed. Infact it is the no.1 choice for birthdays, anniversaries or just a treat. Our whole family love it. The house white rioja is lovely and the food cannot be faulted. I think we have tried everything on the menu now! The staff are extremely attentive and friendly. Everyone should experience Tapas Ole. Oh and someone should give the chef a record deal! His flamenco guitar and singing is astounding. It makes us feel like we are back in Seville.

Just Fantastic!!
By ,
From the moment you step into this fab restaurant you feel special. Rustic seating (old church chairs) and 'cosy' tables make the atmosphere very intimate, even with your next table diners! If you're lucky, you may even be serenaded by the resident waiter/guitarist/cabaret act! We were two girls out for a good night of food and drink, and we certainly had plenty (maybe too much) of both at Tapas Ole. The dishes come at regular intervals, allowing plenty of time for you to have eaten the first few so that the next ones are piping hot when you get them. Excellent house Rioja, Calypso coffee's and, of course, Ponche to round off a most memorable experience! Oh and the food is pretty tasty too... Lamb meatballs, chicken, gambas pilpil (chilli prawns I think!), garlic potatoes, oh and the bread with olive oil and balsalmic vinegar to start - have to stop writing now as I'm feeling really hungry thinking about it! In short, this restaurant is a great place. Not pretentious, doesn't pretend to be anything it's not and does what it intends to do very well! Highly recommended. ;-)
