TROVE, Laguna Beach

After being recommended by my boss, I hired the two owners for design services for my new home. After insisting that I sign a contract and demanding their entire fee upfront (which should have been my first clue); they did basically nothing for me. The only reason I was stupid enough to pay them upfront was my boss's recommendation. Anyhow, I ended our relationship and requested most of my money back (less any actual time they worked on nothing). To my horror, the owners laughed at me & kept all my money despite not providing me with any tangible design services. I ended up suing both of them.
