We've been to Legoland 20 times!
By CheraMom, 11/26/12
We've been going to Legoland California for 12 years, since my daughter was 2. This is still her favorite theme park and she chooses it over Disneyland. MY favorite thing to do is watch the children ages 5-12 DRIVE! These little cars are NOT on a track. They're like actual streets, with red/green lights or stop signs at the intersections Too funny! Pick a weekday and you can do almost the whole park in a single day. It's for children so the rude California teenagers don't hang out there like they do in the other theme parks. (If you have a problem at this park don't bother with the rude customer service people, write a letter to the corporate office.)

Great for little kids
By Sabina, 8/11/12
Its a great park for little kids ages 2-8. Older kids will be bored except for the water park.

Overpriced,very little to do small
By Sally, 9/6/11
Me and my husband took our two boys there 8 and 3. First off it cost 71.00 for a hour and a half. We walked through so fast because there was little to see. Then when you get upstairs there is nothing to do for parents but watch so why does it cost 16 dollars for adults? And the adults that were interacting were overriding the kids taking legos from the kids. Both my boys could only take it for an hour and a half including a 30.00 lunch that was not good. We will not go back! Even my kids said they would rather p,ay with legos at home and do something else for fun. This place is very misleading by the Internet. It's small and boring. The attractions look big online a lot to do, once you get there they are all crammed together the race car area is a simple track in the corner with a few legos for tons of kids to share my kid couldn't even make a car because of the lack of legos. Save your money!!

Disgusting
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/9/11
This has got to be the dirtiest park I have ever visited. Everywhere you look, there is spilled food and trash. We purchased our tickets online, which I was informed was a mistake. In order to obtain complete information regarding ticket prices and options one needs to call the park directly. There are no fastpasses and the express pass upgrade is an additional $100. They refused to credit us the price of the tickets we had already purchased nor would they give us the advertised military discount. The food is ok, but it is horrifically expensive. It was almost $60 for lunch for 2 adults and 2 children. That was one adult meal, one salad, and one kids meal. This park was not designed to handle the crowds, nor is it well staffed. To quote guest relations "It is your fault for visiting on a busy day"

Great Place for kids under 12!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/24/11
Our three boys loved LegoLand.! We spent two days, got the second day for free with our hopper pass. About $300 on tickets for a family of five. Plenty to do. We still didn't have time to see everything. We are from the Midwest, in CA for business and this was our one special treat. Rides are mostly for younger children, so you won"t find the annoying teenage group.

price for adult admission
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/22/11
this is a good place for children 8 yearsold and under. Why does the adult ticket cost more than the childs ticket? It should cost less as the parents are required to go with young children. There is nothing in the park for older kids or parents to do.

Will Never return again
By David, 6/9/11
We received a free childs ticket to Legoland from our daughters PTA at school. Long story short, we were there no longer than 2 hoiurs after we ate lunch and headed for the dragon rolloer coaster. The ride attendant at the front of ther coaster all of a sudden vomited all over me, my daughter and husband. The supervisor apologized to all three of us as we were all covered in vomit and told us that this person working was new and he was nervous. She then sent us to Guest Services because being the position we were in, I am sure no one wanted us around , we were going to get our money back and go home. The lady at Guest Services did not give us our money back, but gave us 3 tickets to return. We told her we will not be coming back for a while and just wanted our money back. She refused a refund to us. We also stated we needed new clothes to go home in since we were covered in vomit. She said she was not able to accomodate us on that, but we could go through the LOST AND FOUND DEPARTMENT and take home any clothes from there. Just shows you how much this company cares about the guests who attend their park. To this day, my daughter will never go there again!!!!! We had to call the Legoland home office to finally get our money back. They credited my account and there was never an apology. Word to wise, if you decide to go, wear a slicker on the Dragon Roller Coaster to avoid flying vomit.

Don't book a hotel through Leggoland Travel
By Chris, 5/5/11
I booked a hotel through Legoland offical stie. Don't do that. It is terrible. The price is overinflated and the choices on canceling or changing are very limited. Book you stay through the indvidual hotels.

Very Nice for small children
By Debbie, 4/6/11
We liked that the rides were fun for our 2 yr old and 5yr old. Our 2 yr old couldn't go on about 1/2 the rides but the ones he could ride he liked. The park was clean and just right for children around 10yrs old or younger. We had no lines the day we went that certainly helped. Bring 12 bucks for parking and at least 10 dollars a head for lunch. Other than that it's a blast for young kids.
