My first and last visit. The French onion soup was very odd. It tasted like Stove Top Stuffing and had plentiful, green twigs in it. When the waiter asked how the soup was I told him awful, he took the full bowls and walked away. He did not take the charges off of the final bill.
The salad was ok. Mixed 'fancy' greens like you get if you go out to your backyard and grab a handful of lawn.
My entree was the veal marsala. It was dredged in flour and seemed to be boiled in the marsala wine sauce instead of flash fried and topped with sauce; rubbery. I don't think portabello mushrooms are used in this dish....but they were o.k. I also had a side of spaghetti and the marinara tasted like lemon (how does that happen?)
Husband had the chicken saltimbocca. While Italian restaurants all have their own version, this was bizarre. One lonely piece of chicken with prosciutto and covered IN SWISS CHEESE. No lemon caper sauce or any sauce for that matter. Side vegetables were sparse. The mashed potatoes were tasty.
The entrees cost $20-$30 dollars and at that price point there are plenty of other restaurants in the area to choose from.....I'm sorry I chose this one and will not be back.
