Description

Flinchyac2s is actually four venues in one location. Outside we have the Train Wreck Deck with a 360 degree bar and table seating. Inside is a high energy New York Style neighborhood bar and a linen napkin relaxing non-smoking dining room. When dinner is done on Wednesdays through Saturdays, the glass walls between the bar and the dining room retract into the floor to open it up for a club scene. We offer live music; acoustical, DJac2s, and full bands with names such as: acoeShea Quinn & Luv Gods, Kenton Shelley, and The Freddie Long Bandac

My first and last visit. The French onion soup was very odd. It tasted like Stove Top Stuffing and had plentiful, green twigs in it. When the waiter asked how the soup was I told him awful, he took the full bowls and walked away. He did not take the charges off of the final bill. The salad was ok. Mixed 'fancy' greens like you get if you go out to your backyard and grab a handful of lawn. My entree was the veal marsala. It was dredged in flour and seemed to be boiled in the marsala wine sauce instead of flash fried and topped with sauce; rubbery. I don't think portabello mushrooms are used in this dish....but they were o.k. I also had a side of spaghetti and the marinara tasted like lemon (how does that happen?) Husband had the chicken saltimbocca. While Italian restaurants all have their own version, this was bizarre. One lonely piece of chicken with prosciutto and covered IN SWISS CHEESE. No lemon caper sauce or any sauce for that matter. Side vegetables were sparse. The mashed potatoes were tasty. The entrees cost $20-$30 dollars and at that price point there are plenty of other restaurants in the area to choose from.....I'm sorry I chose this one and will not be back.
