Greenhouse Cafe, Cardiff

I've been here twice and absolutly loved it each time, the food is amazing - actually good for you, good tasting food that i wish i could make at home! rare for somewhere to serve vegy food that isnt just pasta, pizza or lasange! it is great for birthdays etc as it would most likely just be your table there for the night and is such a great small place right in the heart of studentville! only thing i would say is you dont want to be in a rush as the service isnt - and shouldnt be - that fast and it is also on the expensive side (or maybe that's just because i'm used to chain/student places now?) but for a small, independent resturant with amazing food it is most definetly worth it!

Fresh, cooked to order, good service. Wish it opened more often - my son still talks about their Sunday breakfasts (and he's 5, it takes a lot ot impress for any length of time at that age. Veggies will adore it and it's one of the few places you can take meat eaters without them grumbling.
