Description
The infamous "Death Junction" bears no sign of the public gallows that once stood there. Instead, there's a five-way road junction, a pub and, a few metres further on up the hill, this large and popular family restaurant. Students make good use of the attached kebab takeaway while the less impoverished enjoy the quiet atmosphere and a sit-down meal. The clean blue decor and subdued lighting lends a relaxed and intimate atmosphere to the establishment. The menu is full of traditional Greek home cooking with lots of fish dishes and some interesting kebabs for both meat eaters and vegetarians. Children are welcome, and another advantage is that you can generally get a table without booking ahead.
