Aegean Taverna, Cardiff

A lively Greek taverna set in one of the main student residential areas of the city, close to several good pubs and 15 minutes walk from the city centre, the Aegean's walls reverbrate to the sound of live music on most nights. The food is hearty fare with loads of grilled fish and steaks and vegetarian dishes that include little cheese pies and veggie kebabs. There's very little parking space in the area so it's best to leave your car behind and take a bus or taxi.
