Description
The estate of Maria Serena is the last building on the French side of the Franco-Italian coastline. Although this fact makes for interesting trivia, the villa is also in and of itself an attractive example of a nineteenth-century winter home. Although today the Maria Serena estate is owned by the town of Menton , the gardens, filled with gorgeous tropical flowers, are open to the public. Guided tours are available on Tuesdays.
