Description
The Knowledge Pavilion, designed by the architect Carrilho da Graça, won the Great Prize of the FAD Jury 1999 (Barcelona). The Pavilion with its various scientific segments and blocks promotes scientific and technological culture. There are interactive blocks as well as recreation and formative areas reserved for children. Moreover the place has Cibercafes and an audio-visual archive with CD-ROMs, books and magazines. Several exhibitions, conferences, colloquies and meetings are also organized in this Pavilion.
