Stepping into this stadium is like walking back in time. Flanked on one side by the Green Monster, a 37 feet (11.28 meters) high left field wall with manually operated score board, Fenway Park is a unique piece of civic history. Having opened in 1912, it's one of America's oldest Major League Baseball stadiums currently in use. It's home to the famed Boston Red Sox. With a capacity to accommodate more than 37000 spectators, the stadium pulsates with ecstatic fans on game days. Although Fenway has endured several fires and subsequent renovations over the years, it still stands strong, and is one of the country's iconic stadiums.
I am personally a Yankee fan and was just going because the Yankees were playing. Well, it was so amazing! Before every game they let fans go on the field and get autographs! I got a Jeter and Rivera! And then Reggie Jackson sat next to us! And Mike Lowell got retired at that game! It deffentaly couldn't have been better! Their food is great (especially Clam Chowder) and you can walk on Yawkee Way without leaving the stadium and they have a lot for kids like a speed gun where you throw a ball at a catcher and it tells you your speed. It is a very historic park. It is amazing!
