City Tours Dresden (Stadtrundfahrten Dresden)
Do you want to absorb everything that Dresden has to offer a tourist? Unless you are familiar with the language, or have a personal guide, this is what most visitors opt for. Quaint and charming double-decker buses ferry wide-eyed folks around the city, situated on the river Elbe. You are welcome to step off at a site that catches your eye, spend as much time as you would like, and hop onto the next bus to continue your tour. Buses come by every half an hour, and the ticket is valid for the whole day. A choice of tours is available, covering most of the city's points of interest. Prices are pegged at EUR18 per person, and children below 14 years of age can ride on with their parents for free. A point to note - if you begin your tour after 3p, your ticket is also valid for the next day!
