The newly renamed Joe Pesce is just okay. The service was good (minus the ten minute ramble of the day's specials - so long you forgot what the first one was), decor was slightly dated, and bathrooms were cramped. The new name is the most unfortunate thing about the restaurant. I thought the food was underwhelming, but the rest of my party was pleased. With so many other good restaurants in the area, I most likely won't go back.

express lunch that was expressless
By ,
We stopped in for the express lunch. A great deal at just under $10. The waitress was less than chipper and you could tell she was the type of waitress that served it with a smile but turned to snicker. The restaurant was very nice and well appointed. The food was actuallly pretty good especially when you get a small salad, a decent entree and sorbet for desset for $10. It's the espress lunch but it takes a good hour to be served and eat. If you do go, please keep in mind that tea is not refilled. It must be purchased by the glass. You do hower receive enless sourdough and a nice sauted veggie spread....but no free refills on the tea ;-)

only for those who appreciate fine things

The service is excellent, and the wine is a good excuse to get out of the house and drink without going to a trashy, loud bar.
