Phoenix, set just off Main Street in Bangor's Market Street, is one of the town's most popular Chinese restaurants. Fully licensed and serving both Peking and Cantonese cuisine, the menu is wide and the prices impressive. For those who like to dine early, they should take full advantage of the early bird menu. Otherwise the service is excellent, the prices very good - a regular meal will cost somewhere around £15 - and the atmosphere authentically oriental. A takeaway service is also available.
