Attentive service and well-prepared Chinese cuisine is to be found here in the salubrious Victorian village area of Stranmillis. Welcome specializes in tasty south Chinese dishes. You can leave the hard work up to them and opt for a set meal from their extensive range, or choose from the abundance of their à la carte menu: this restaurant serves a choice of 34 main Chinese dishes alone! If you have a particular dish in mind, it's probably here. Delicious and quite reasonable, it's no surprise that Welcome has been awarded Belfast's best restaurant and carry-out three years in a row, as well as being recommended by Egon Ronay.

What a restaurant

Decor is excellent. Food is easily best chinese in Belfast. And service is professional and attentive even in the busiest of times. Been going there for the last 10 years and even the decoration has changed food is still excellent. Definitely will be going there again and again.

good service

i found this place a lovely atmosphere with good food and service. i particularly liked that the waitresses and waiters dont actually stand over the top of you while eating like in some restuarants. i found it a good sign when you are in a chinese and chinese people are eating there aswell. ok so a bit more expensive but well worth it. would go back anytime.

Really nice ambiance

What I liked? The ambiance and the decor. I was told that the Restaurant has been opened for over twenty years and is still owned by the same family. Very impressive as most restaurant I know close within 2/3 years! The food was excellent and the service efficient. The only downside was, the bill was slightly more expensive than most Chinese restaurants I'm use to. But what would you expect for good food and good service. I will definitely go back again.
