The Pizza Express restaurants prove that you don't have to give up on sophistication just because you're a chain. Pizza Express is fully licensed, with one side of the restaurant given over to a pleasant bar, where you can enjoy a pre-pizza drink. There are, of course, lots of Pizzas on offer. They are cooked in the open-plan kitchen by dough-tossing chefs, and are guaranteed to be fresh and devoid of production-line plasticity. Try the Soho - topped with Raw Rocket and fresh Strips of Parmesan, this is one of the most unusual Pizza varieties in town. There's a good selection of Salads and Pasta dishes, including many vegetarian options. Finally, it's all brought to you at extremely reasonable prices.
originally it was advertised this restaurant was BYO, when we arrived we were told quite bluntly that it's wasn't BYO anymore, I pointed out that it was still advertised as BYO and the staff member shrugged.
We decided to stay, however were shocked at the lack of beer choice and the inflated prices of the beer they did have. The restaurant can get very busy as it was the night we were there, however it is large enough to manage and appeared to have enough staff on duty.
the pizza was ok, nothing special, however by the time it arrived we'd already decided that we'll not return, mostly due to the convenient withdrawal of the BYO (without changing this info online), the staff member's lack of interest and general rudeness. another thumbs down is the beer price and lack of choice.
Went here by pure accident one day as i would normally have went to Morrisons and on this occasion Morrisons was being renovated. The food is excellent, the staff are great not rushing you like in other restaurants, all in all its an excellent choice and very afforadable - i have not been back to Morrisons since.
I thought it was just me when I went with husband and kids. Revisited with friend and kids. Staff as horrible on this occassion! Made us feel unwelcome as soon as we arrived when we asked for table beside window rather than toilets (only one other table of diners at that time-early evening mid week). No personality. Didn't passs comment to manageress as she was the rudest so no point. Expensive exercise in how notto be treated!!
Ive been here quite a few times for different occasions and they really do cater to all of them. the last time i was there i decided to try the famous "Godfather" pizza, which is one of the healthiest options in terms of pizza. It was absolutly beautiful, and the service was brilliant, very chatty and made you feel very comfortable. Its also very good value and served very quickly, you can even watch the chef prepare it!
I took my g.friend here 4 a meal and was v.impressed with every aspect of the service, food and atmosphere. Quality genuine itallian dishes served with a warm and hearty manner. Have recommended this place to many and cant wait for our next visit!!!!!
This upmarket pizzeria has the smart, stylish look and relaxed, informal atmosphere that sets the famous Ask chain of Italian
restaurants apart from other pizza establishments. It offers a good selection of moderately priced pizzas and pastas. Recommended pasta ...
You can't miss this place the bright colours and space inspired graphics scream out from its pavement front position on
busy Whiteladies Road. It's perfectly positioned to catch all the passing students and young professionals and in summer it's ...
You won't find any subtle classics on the menu here, but it's busy and with good reason. There's a daily
all you can eat buffet involving pizza (obviously), garlic bread and salad, at the bargain price of about £5 ...
