Bath Tap (The), Bath

Bath's official gay venue, the Bath Tap has been part of the scene for ages. Clean, bright and cheerful inside, with the sort of music you'd expect, the place underwent a large refurbishment adding more style to the hip and fun ambiance. Bar meals are served at lunchtime and as it has a late licence on Friday and Saturday (£2.50 charge for entrance after 10p on Sat), it's particularly useful. Straight folk are welcome too, so boogie on down to the Housemartins and Abba. Watch out for Karaoke Night on Mondays and the excellent Drag Quiz Night on Wednesdays from 9p.
