Description
Cheers is the latest name to be attached to this bar—bars here being as transient as the travelers that flock to them. Whatever its name, the place stays much the same: tiny, cramped and overcrowded most nights, with an interesting mix of backpackers and other travelers guzzling the cheapest beer in town. The shadiest (i.e. it will keep you sheltered from the noon sun) bar on the street also serves super cheap food to bubbly patrons bopping to very loud rock and pop. Comfortable chairs set out on the sidewalk are the daytime attraction here. At times it feels a bit like a student house party and at other times, you may find yourself reduced to trading horror stories of dark dorms and diarrhea with a seasoned traveler!
