Amedros, Istanbul

The service was excellent, attentive, friendly and fun. we had a great evening with great food, we will definitely return on our next visit to istanbul and we will recomend it to all our friends who goes to istanbul.

That is a great place,I was there with my wife last friday,restaurant has a magnificent atmosphere and very delicious food especially ottoman cousine.We enjoyed our time.

I visited to amedros with my wife,the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable with very friendly and helpfull staff.The menu is excelent(a real turkish and international cusine).The testi kebab one of the specialties at Amedros.The chef did research on meals eaten by the sultans,and has reproduced them,absolutely delicios.Every thing is fresh. I was there 2 monts ago.I can say i never had food like this when i travel.Testi kebab with Siraz red wine.I want to say all traveller !If you visit istanbul defenetly you should eat food in Amedros.I realy heartly recommend AMEDROS

We are Americans living in Istanbul. Anytime we are in the Sultanahmet area, we always go to Amedros. It is one of our favorite restaurants in Istanbul. Everything we have tried is great, and the staff are friendly and provide great service. Everyone we take here has also loved it. Their specialty are Ottoman dishes, the food of Turkish royalty. The chef did research on the meals eaten by the Sultans, and has reproduced them. Absolutely delicious. The Testi Kabob is one of the House specialties, chicken, lamb, or both, cooked in a clay pot which they serve by breaking it in front of your table. It is entertaining, but the taste does outdo the show. Also, Amedros does have a wide range of dishes that go beyond what you can find in most restaurants in Istanbul. Every dish we had has been excellent, and we are looking forward to going back and trying another plate.

rich kitchen joyful ambiance very good staff..large choose of turkish and ottoman kitchen....beside the really good well done steaks...I guess that is why it being recomended by most of guidebooks...try it out!!

the atmosphere was fantastic.the stuff are very helpful and kind.you can sit outdoor with excellent Bluemosque view.
