Dubb Indian Restaurant & Gallery, Istanbul

It's surprisingly difficult to find good, authentic Indian cuisine in a city the size of sprawling Istanbul. However, this is definitely the place to come if you can't live without tandooris, biriyanis and a vast range of tasty but tongue-numbing curries. It's located in a restored Ottoman building on three beautifully renovated saffron-hued levels, just one street away from Sultanahmet's main drag, Divan Yolu. The cost of lunch and dinner at Dubb is surprisingly reasonable considering international cuisine in Istanbul typically equals pricey.
