The food is good, but the mussels need to be cooked more and the prices need to come down. Also, sometimes they don't always answer the phone and they should start proving wet napkins as a courtesy.

I am hooked for life. The food is magnificient and you definitely get your money's worth. I would give this restaurant 10 stars, but I could only max out on 5. Keep up the good work. I'll be back soon!!

I regularly heard the Bottom of the Sea advertised on the radio. But baby they radio could not do it justice. I love seafood but only the good stuff. Although the only do take out.....its as good as any take out or sit down I have had and I have eaten seafood all over the world. The shrimp are delicious- large and fresh; the tilapia and crabcakes are super. If it matters to you the broiled fish is just as great as the fried. It is not dried out- moist and delcious. I really feel like they went out back to the Atlantic and caught the seafood when I ordered it and got it ready by the time I arrived to pick it up. I thought my first purchase was a bit pricey but when I realized it was enough for two and we were both full. I go here regularly now, especially since you should have fish at least twice a week.......this is the place to get it prepared. GO! You will enjoy.....even the veggies are great.

Rough around the edges,but the food speaks for itself,started by two black men,its definitely a diamond in the rough.The best Philly or anywhere has to offer!
