By far the best restaurant in New Hope! Chopped salad is like no other. Love the lobster bisque and the steaks are outstanding. Every time we go, it s always as good as the last time. Highly recommend!

Overpriced and mediocre food at best. Looks better inside than it actually is. The service was awful. She was inattentive, curt, and borderline rude. Our philly cheesesteak was bland chopped meat with no taste. It was $14.95, and the lovely waitress asked me if I wanted salad or fries with it, and I said fries. To my astonishment, when the bill came I was charged an extra $2.00 for the fries. The chopped salad was overlayed in dressing, and was not very appetizing. Overall this place was overpriced, rude, and unenjoyable. Save your money and go get a slice of pizza.

I have lived in New Hope for 20 odd years now and regularly visit restaurants there and in Lambertville, and have actually been to Marsha Browns on several occasions since it first opened. Mostly I would add as a guest because I would never choose to go there otherwise. The location and atmosphere are superb, both the bar and the restaurant are to die for, so it is such a shame that the food is really grossly overpriced, and I mean grossly, and absolutely to be avoided. Bar staff are great, restaurant staff are dreadful cartoon characters, big pushers more suited to a career in telemarketing, and embarrassingly over actors. My last visit was paid for by my son-in law from CA, who found a good review somewhere on the internet and insisted on going there, I must say against my advice, and why I am writing this. I had the lobster, incredibly expensive, and a beet salad, also not too cheap. The restaurant was about 1/3 full with an amazingly high number of staff, so no complaints there. The lobster I ordered was served cold when it was supposed to be hot; the beet salad was one slice of beet and a couple of strands of greens. I was incensed and really complained had all the staff there including the cook, bit embarrassing for the other guests. BUT the point is as I told them if you charge high end prices for the food for goodness sake serve decent food well. My advice is just do not go to eat, but go to look at the murals in the restaurant, enjoy the décor, enjoy the bar and wonder how they went so wrong on the food.

We were at Marsha Browns twice in the last month. Once for a business dinner with about 10 people. The other was a birthday dinner for 7 people. Both times the food was great and the waiters couldn't have been more attentive. I would reccomend this restaurant highly.

Very high prices for average food. The crawfish risotto appetizer was big enough for an entree. The Jumbalaya was very soupy, we saw lots of sausage but no duck or shrimp. The mussels appetizer was strange; bbq sauce does not go with mussels. The service took a while but they were very nice.

I went to Marsha Browns and though the setting was impressive, the food and service were terrible. We waited about 30 minutes to have our orders taken, then another 20 or so for out starters to arrive. The fish was over cooked could have qualified for a La Crosse ball. The kitchen also missed on cleaning it, as the bitterness of blood was present. I tried returning it, but they wouldn't take it back. The jambalaya was very soupy was absent of any meat or seafood as it was all chopped so finely that it was like eating baby food. I have eaten in a plenty of restaurants that claim to serve authentic creole cuisine, but this is definitely one that has missed the mark. A complete waste of time and money.
