After being seated and the food ordered the couple next to us did not want us to sit there and asked for us to be moved to another seat. I am Middle Eastern.

I loved the food and it made me feel like I was a skunk dipped in ice cream! Plus I am a big fan of race cars!!

If you want great steak frites, this is the place. The waitresses are very friendly when I've been, and I work across the street so I go a lot - I get cravings. Regarding the review below on rude waitresses, everyone who reads it should discard this - they rush people who hang out for TWO HOURS because this is the style of restaurant; it is not possible to make reservations and a lot of people queue to get in. If you want to have a birthday celebration, you should find another place. Come for the food.

This is a famous and wonderful place. In order to make things clear, this place is a restaurant of tradition, where the steak is not the kind of steak we eat in the United States or Latin America, but a different, smaller, less tender (very European) type of steak. The sauce, which is made using mainly butter, is fantastic. Oh, almost forget, I just read from a review that the sauce tastes like curry… I would recommend you to go to a doctor today given that if you can not differentiate between butter and curry (which would be the equivalent of not being able to differentiate between a milk chocolate and cinnamon), you are probably either dying or you are extremely ignorant. Also, this place brings in the most famous people from Europe while having a break from their meetings with their private bankers on the rue de Rhone. If you are lucky you might see a few actors or famous millionaires. Enjoy the fine food and let me know what you think when you are back from Geneva.

It's a unique restaurant which don't have menu. The Steak saus taste a bit like Curry. They open from 7 PM - 11:30 PM but the queue start at 6:30 PM. Must try it. Steak & Frys served twice, a half portion first and the second half portion coming later on.

I think this place is overrated. Steak is so-so, not that extraordinary. Desserts are however delicious. Still, no reason for the waitresses to be extremely rude. They rushed us when we were ordering our desserts, tea and coffee - not that we took even 5 minutes to choose and order! Then they kept coming to our table telling us, "You have been sitting here for too long. It's been two hours now.". Then fifteen minutes later returned, "It's two hours and fifteen minutes now..." Mind you - we were a group of 8, celebrating a birthday (and they knew about it). Perhaps if they want people to move fast, they should skip serving dessert and tea/coffee. They might not care as they thought people would still come and pack their restaurant anyway, but at some point people will get overwehlmed with their unpleasant attitude in doing the business.

This is by far one of the yummiest restaurants in Geneva. They only serve one main thing (delicious steak with the most amazing sauce you have ever had in your life, plus fresh cut french fries). Desserts are great too, but the steak will have you salivating and wanting to come back for more! French bistro atmosphere. A bit expensive, but everything in Geneva is. Worth testing out, just for the memory.

The steak is cooked to perfection with a delicious sauce. All the food is not served at the same so you get second helping which is still hot. Love it

Get there early and ask for the non smoking section. The steak was yummy, and the wine!!! yes please. Just when you think you've had enough, more food is on it's way. Go don't leave this one out

the food is great, smoking spoils it though! cannot reserve tables in advance, therefore have to go and wait in line outside, and usually it is always very busy, so patience and warm clothing are required especially on cold nights- like tonight.
