Restaurant Les Armures, Geneva

after the reputation, my friend and I went to try out the cheese fondue. we order one regular water and a cheese fondue. not much comment for the fondue, not knowing what to expect and has no previous experience to compare it to, i thought it was cheese! however, when the bill arrived, the water was 6 CHF, and we were charged for two cheese fondues, the price on the menu was for 1 person, and because we were two people, they gave us two orders in one pot and charged us for two fondues, 56 CHF!!!!! in my opinion, we were tricked and not worth it!

My Mum and I had a lovely meal in Les Armures - the food was great, the atmosphere wonderful and the staff were very helpful even though we just walked in from the street in typical tourist clothes! Well worth a visit.

The foodis very good although a bit pricey. I recommend the Tomato Fondue! It is unbelievable! Make sure to make a reservation as it is VERY busy with foreign tourists and business people. The staff is not very curteous unless you appear outwardly to have a lot of cash. Nice Swiss atmosphere.
