Description
The Ericsson Globe Arena (Globen) is the world's largest spherical building, situated in the south of the city. It is visible on the horizon from a great distance. The building has a diameter of 110 meters, and an inner height of 85 meters. It was built in a record time of two and a half year. This sports arena is used for a variety of activities, from opera to basketball. It is famous for its annual events like the Stockholm International Horse Show, the DN Games and the Swedish Hockey League games. See the website for a complete calendar of events.
