Description:

This is a favorite haunt of the young and young at heart. Meet Pippi Longstocking, Madicken or Emil in Lönneberga, or take the fairytale train around the most beloved scenes from Astrid Lindgren's books. There is also a bookshop and a restaurant for those who want to buy some books or grab a cup of coffee. Tickets cost SEK85 for adults, and SEK60 for senior citizens and children (aged three to 15). During the summer, book your tickets in advance.

a very special place for children of all ages

The storytelling format was wonderful , allowing everyone a sense of intimacy and privacy. The scenes were charming and touching and made me search out my own copy of the Brothers Lionheart...now finally re-released in English. One of my favourite museums of all time. Not necessarily for those attracted to Disney versions of childhood. The restaurant was also charming.

Family vacation Sweeden

The children enjoyed the pirates and the story telling. Parents can relax while the children run wild in the indoor play area.
