Cafe Piastowska, Stockholm

A Cafe with a nice atmosphere, interesting style and good polish beer. Recommended for people who want to enjoy a good company in unforgotten style of the pre-war polish café, listening to the polish music and looking at old souvenirs. Kvällens soup, served before every dish represents a real taste of polish home made meals. It is better than any appetizer. After the soup find yourself in heaven trying their specialty called ’placek’. You can choose it in many ways so reserve more time for visits at Piastowska, because it would be pity not to try them all.

I liked the fact that it offers unusual tastes and that it takes you back in time. To me it's a romantic place ideal for a tete a tete dinner!

Was there with a party of 15 people. The main course took about 1 hour and the dessert another hour. Commenting to staff about the long wait resulted in a loud and hostile discussion in polish. The food was ok but if that is all you care about there are better places. Never experienced anything like it in Stockholm.
