Iglesia de San Miguel
Description
This church has one of the most spectacular silhouettes of all Ibiza's churches. From its position high up on a mountain, the church not only looks down on the town of San Miguel, but also, on the other side, on a valley that goes right down to the sea. Although the main structure dates from the 14th Century, two chapels were added in the 17th Century. Its small windows and imposing presence, along with its defense tower are evidence that it was used as a fortress.
