Foix de Sarriá, Barcelona

Established in 1886, Foix de Sarriá is best known for its excellent pastries and other baked goods. There's an incredible variety of delicious things to try like the 'royal cake', sachertorte, panellets (small, round marzipan cakes), pasta de te (dry fruit biscuits), saras (named after Sarah Bernhardt, sponge-cake covered with butter cream and burnt almonds), chocolates and ice cream.
