The problems started when i called to reserve a table for the evening. When they answered the phone, I stated politely that I would like to reserve a table for the evening for two friends of mine and myself. The given response was simply, "no we don't reserve tables, click...." I have NEVER, and i mean NEVER, experienced something like that in my entire life. At least have the courtesy to say "bye". We decided to go even though my first impression was grim. When we got there we soon found out that this was the level of courtesy they showed their customers. I speak spanish fluently, but ordered in english anyways, and discovered that the waiters spoke badly of the foreign customers behind their backs. Making fun of physical appearances as well as nationality (oftentimes described as"inferior") The positive is this: The food was good, and not overpriced. You get what you pay for both in quality and quantity, but the atmosphere is terrible. If a good atmosphere is important to you, i highly recommend you find somewhere else to spend your hard earned money. (if it's you easily earned money I'd understand)

We ordered claws and rose chrimps (the items where on the "daily specials" list) for 9,90 and 8,50 euro's. (about 12 and 10 USD). We got exactly 8 naked claws and 8 naked shrimps on a small plate, together with a tiny little piece of lemon. Even not the smallest piece of bread or salad, nothing. I wonder how a restaurant dares to put such items on a menu card at such prices. Needless to say that we were very dissapointed ? Ren�, Belgium

The tapas really has that "someting special", that you just remember and long to experience once again. The local atmosphere is just charming and near lots of interesting builings and places.

I met the most beautiful women from all over the world, and people too. Wilma is great, say hi from Canada. Try Sangria, any number of superb tapas and be ready to be in spirit. I love this place.

The best tapas ever. Was introduced to this place May 2007 - have booked another flight for a short break - just to return to Cerveseria Catalana - the memory of it never fades. Atmosphere buzzing and definitely well worth the wait - fantastic!

This is the most amazing tapas bar - or a 2 week holiday we went 5 times. Sit inside for the best atmosphere - at the bar was our favourite. Lovely tapas - really reccommend it!

Loved everything about the place!! So much fun, the restaurant is constantly buzzing and the food is the finest tapas I've ever had (and I thought I'd had some good ones).

I ate here twice, at the bar, during a 4 day visit to Barcelona. I loved the food, the service, the price and the experience. It is the best tapas I have ever eaten -and the vino tinto and sangria were pretty good too. Not to be missed.

This is a great place to go with a group of peaople, 6 or more. They have "Surtidos" which are "tasting" plates with a little bit of serveral types of tapas. Also, incredibly goos montadito de solomillo (beef filet). Fast and cordial service, great food. Crowded at the bar but that's because it's such a great place. =)
