If you are new to the concept of Tapas, then Tapa Tapa is the place for you. With English menus, pictures displaying each dish and a friendly staff, Tapa Tapa makes it easy to discover the beauty of sharing small plates. While this spot is not known for having the city s best tapas, their wide selection, reasonable prices, and above-average food make Tapa Tapa an excellent place to try tapas for the first time. Be sure to order Patatas Bravas, duck skewers, goat cheese salad and bread with tomato. The restaurant is located across the street from Gaudi s La Pedera house, making it extremely easy to find. - Zoe Pagonis
This was the first restaurant where we eat Tapas,
A long qui and mostly non spanisch persons who eat there. The quality was nog bad, but we eat the next day with a collegea out Barcelon in a real tapas restaurant. And than the differents are there.
So if you like a fast mc-donnalds tapas, go to this bar. When you like the real teast of the Spanisch kitchen, go to outher restaurants in the centre.
This bar seems very popular with the locals which is why we tried it and the food is good. The staff are very helpful and will explain the menu.

On our visit last September on a weekday lunchtime was full of locals dining during siesta.
As mentioned in other comments for non-spanish speakers the place mats have pictures of all tapa's, they do not mention the daily specials though so be sure to ask (these are normally on a blackboard behind the bar). This place is very popular with both tourists and locals...be warned!
Basically cheap fast food. It's fine if you want a quick bite and don't want to spend much money, but if you are looking for authentic Spanish tapas this isn't the place. Restaurant appeals to young travelers on tight budgets or travelers who don't want to start dinner at 9:00 pm. Beware of items with mayo as they keep it in a squeeze bottle at room temperature...
Though it was only inaugurated in 1995, Cafe Torino is decorated in such a way as to appear classic and
traditional. The first thing you notice is the old wooden facade, which is, of course, is not as old ...
