Julivert Meu, Barcelona

I am back in the UK now but i used to stay in Barca. Early this year before we came back yo the UK my wife and i went to Julivert Mue for a nice evening out. The food was simple but delicious,the service was friendly and not imposing and the restaurant itself was very welcoming. The food,The wine and the whole experience was fantastic,i would recomend this place to anyone. Being off a side street half way down the Ramblas you would think it would be expensive but you would be wrong. 4 of us went and we all had 3 courses with wine flowing,beer flowing and some soft drinks and we had change out of 90euros... I would definately go back again..

Terrific atmosphere and helpful staff. Food excellent and really good value for money. We were only in the city for less than a week yet we visited this place every single day. Full of charm, can't wait to go back.

After searching for a half decent restaurant around La Ramblas (there arent many, if any), we stumbled across this place and had to go back at least 3 times in the week we were there, I go to restaurants a lot of the time and this has to be in the top 10 on a whole, really cheap and good wine and a really moody waiter, brilliant, try the fish carpaccio and the bbq'd Rabbit, a great place to spend an afternoon.

Just we were in Ramblas looking for a nice and cheap lunch, we saw your recommendation of the Julivert meu so se decide to go there. We took a taxi and the surprise was that we spent 15 minutes to arrives . We thought he was given us a tour but the extrordinary was that there's another Julivert Meu in Pedralbes. Nice and quiet area you must visit. Absolutely the Barcelona you do not see in touristic guide .And the most fantastic is that the food was great and cheap. A wonderful mistake.
