Walk down the wide white corridor with its marvellous plaster reliefs to the spacious, freshly decorated dining area with its Miami-style palm tree columns and you've arrived. You sit in stylish wrought-iron chairs, there's pleasant music in the background and the food is simply excellent. Specialities include fresh pumpkin soup, tender steaks, fresh salmon, pasta, stews and salads. There's a special evening menu for groups of 10+. It's one of the newest fancy restaurants to be located in Raval district and once dinner is finished, it stays open as a pub until 3am.
I often visit Barcelona on business trips and do not mind expensive restaurants as long as the food is worth it but I found the staff to be rude, the atmosphere flat and the food(to put it plainly) disgusting and cold. Definately not a place I would recommend.
Despite prior reviews, I found the restaurant quite pleasant. The interior was quite attractive and the food was good as well. A hint, if you want a quick meal, don't go out to eat in Spain. Especially in the vacinity of Las Ramblas.
Rude ignorant staff, poor service, over priced!!!!!! We sat down to eat at 8:30pm, by 10:15 only half the group had eaten. The waiters refused to bring us drinks from the bar and after complaining to the management about everything that had gone wrong, instead of offering us some discount he called his bouncers to pull down the shutters and attack the rest of the group who had moved outside the restaurant to wait for us -who were paying the bill. In the end up I had to call the police as we were punched quite hard and they confiscated our handbags - - - in the end they got of scot free - so much for law and order!!!!!
