St. Basil's Cathedral, Moscow

oh ma gawd!!!!!!!!!! i was BORRRRN HEEEEREEEE!!!!!

I couldn't believe how much history was in this cathedral. The inside is incredible. You feel at peace there is so much reverence for it especially if you read about it before you go. The walls, the bricks, murals and paintings is so equisite you can't believe you are looking at something so incredibly beautiful.

I was an absolute awe. It was woderful and I would definetly make the trip again. St Basils was breath taking. I can't believe anyone could hate it. The people were friendly and considerate.

One of the most beatiful sites in the world!! Easy to getto ... within walking distance of all the major attraction in this great old city!!!

I went in October. I hated it. The population was too much and all the people were rude and un-friendly. There was no place to park my traler. Thanks for the bad trip, terrible one.

THE WHOLE PLACE WAS HORRIBLE. THE ATMOSTPHERE THE PEOPLE THE TOURIST ATTRACTIONS THE HOTELS THE MOTELS THE RESTARAUNTS THE CAFES THE SHOPS THE AIR THE MARKETS THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS HORRIBLE BAD AWFUL BORING NEVER EVER GO HERE IT IS A HOPELESS PLACE STAR RATING 1 BECAUSE THERE ISNT A ZERO

St Basils is stunning and quintessentially Russian and Muskovite. Absolutely go see it-- at least from the outside. About the best experience you can get from it is facing the monument from the opposite side of Red Square. The inside-- while it has some interesting tiled rooms, and icons-- can be missed if you're on a tight budget. Weekends in September are fun, though, as brides and wedding parties congregate on Red Square, walking in gorgeous dresses. If you're in the area, also visit GUM, the mall next door and cultural landmark. In Soviet times, it was empty, a mock mall. Now it symbolizes the nascent Russian financial growth and its high value on consumerism.

it had a gross funny smell that made me throw up. it was really expencive and not worth your money

I went in the winter, to red square, and was thoroughly impressed by the beauty and architecture of the surrounding structures, but most of all, the St. Basils Cathedral. Anyone who has not visited this spot, should make it a priority to do at least once in their lives.
