Oblomov Na Presne, Moscow

Decorated in the 19th century style of Goncharov's famous novel Oblomov, this is a very comfortable themed restaurant. The fictional Oblomov was known for his love of good food and fine manners. You may choose a drawing-room with open fire, a small summer-house at the bank of the river, or even a bathhouse theme. Oblomov has a lot of paintings, antique furniture and chandeliers. The tables are covered in crisp white linen. Visitors have access to the cigar room, Russian billiards, American pool and to tables with various board games. The menu is superb for its variety and includes two main courses and 10-12 hors d'oeuvres and salads, four or five desserts, and cold and hot drinks. Each main dish is only cooked once a month, since the restaurant offers thirty different menus each month. The drinks menu offers a selection of refreshments from all over the world.
