Description
Founded in 1983, with the name of the former President of Fundação Gulbenkian. The collection has been made since the late 50s, gathering Portuguese (the majority) and some Britain and Armenian. It has a Data Department specialised in Art of the 20th Century, an Educational Department Through Art (ACARTE) and an Artistic Center for Children (including the Center of Image and Narrative Techniques). Temporary exhibitions are also displayed here. For information on up-coming events and guided tours, check the website or call ahead.
