Bica do Sapato, Lisbon

The restaurant is told to be one of the best in the city. Well, I can disagree. I've spent two weeks in Portugal, eating in all kinds of possible and inpossible places, tiny unknown restaurants in the middle of nowhere. Everywhere food was excellent. Our last evening we decided to have a goodbye dinner at Bica do Sapato. Place looked quite promising - hi-end design, lots of well-dressed beautiful people. I never expected that would turn out into bad experience. Service was very good. Food? Well, compared to everything we tried before in Portugal - it just wasn't tasty. But the worst thing is that I felt very bad the night after - I've got food poisoning. I could blame it on white fish with mussels I ate there. This day I should have been going home, that made my life even more complicated. I felt bad for 3 days more. Spoilt food - that is unacceptable for the restaurant like this.
