Description
This is one of the most famous coffeehouses in Lisbon. Founded more than a hundred years ago, it has been a favorite meeting place of Portuguese artists. Works of art by some of the cafe's more famous patrons hang on the walls, and the life-sized statue of Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa practically begs you to take a picture (many tourists do). Be forewarned: The cafe's prices are a little inflated.
