Kmicic, Warsaw

Located in an expensive area, full of tourist traps, Kmicic offers an affordable alternative. The restaurant consists of small seating areas which are divided up by walls and alcoves as well as some larger sections with several simple wooden tables. There is nothing too fancy - the style is more rustic than elegant. The food served here is traditionally Polish - both hearty and heavy, featuring the classics such as pierogis (dumplings) and pickled salads. There is also a large drink selection including beer on tap and a small wine list.
