Grand Kredens has singlehandedly improved the quality of Warsaw's restaurant interiors. Check it out and see for yourself what everyone's talking about. To describe the decor at Grand Kredens is almost like talking about several different restaurants: there is a section which is styled like a Parisian bistro, another that feels like a seaside restaurant and yet another which resembles an Italian trattoria. It may sound impossible, but somehow it actually works. Like the decor, the food too is extremely varied. Italian pasta dishes stand side by side with steak and designer salads. A fair selection of wines and other drinks is also available.
Returned to Grand Kredens after five years away! I specifically asked my hubby to take me here for my birthday after the great meal we had had there previously.
Rather disappointingly, the food was no where near as good as it used to be, the prices had doubled at least and we used to get smalek and vodka on the house but not any more.
We were there at 2030 on a Saturday night and well under half the tables were occupied. Say no more, but I think word is getting out that things aren't what they used to be.
As a Polish American, the food reminded me of the many trips to my grandmother's house as a kid.
I have been to Warsaw and this restaurant many times I know many Polish resturants in Warsaw, and I prefer this one over all others.
For a real treat, order the wild mushroom soup........... you won't regret it.
Spent two night in Warsaw and went twice to that restaurant. Great place: amazing food, interesting interior, great service! Try carpaccio - very fresh and delicious! Duck dish, mushroom soups (tried two different kind) was very good. I wish I had this restaurant close by :-).
Went to Warsaw with some musicians - the booking agency picked us up from the airport and took us to Grand Kredens. We were in heaven from the moment we stepped in the door! Killer ambience - the food was awesome - vodka plentiful - and the entire evening was rock star treatment. If I ever find myself back in Warsaw I will try my absolute best to get back to Kredens!!!
Excellent price/quality ratio. Very local place, no tourists. Staff is very service oriented, very friendly and atmosphere is very Polish, later in the evening very loud. Live music was good and violine player was talented.

A chic basement restaurant club that serves Meditteranean /Polish food. It hasn't been open that long so you don't get
the usual wait for a table at the weekends. It's a quiet basement restaurant during the day which gets ...
