This jazzy, Starbucks-esque coffee house is located just outside the Old Town and outside the range of the tourist track. The first thing that strikes you on entering the front door is the wall-size, colorful fresco, seemingly depicting the artist's idea of Paris coffee house types from the 30's. Frequented by locals of all types, you can sit down in the huge amount of space inside and even enjoy the local press.
we went here because we were trying to go to as many different coffee places as possible durning our short stay in beautiful krakow, however, you could tell that this place was a chain, and is it really necessary to have to listen to the beatles everywhere you go in the world? there's only a certain number of times that you can actually listen to "when i'm 64"?
TriBeCa on the Main Market Square ( Rynek Glowny ) in Krakw is like enjoying the best of two worlds . First , I admit there are only two places in the world that I would want to live - in New York City and in the medieval old town of Krakw , Poland.
One can't live in two places , so Krakw is my choice but it was missing something - North American style coffee ( a big cup ). Thank heaven for TriBeCa . Now I can sit in a beautiful outside garden called after a place in N.Y. and have a large coffee ( at a resonable price ! )versus the regular European expressos. Now with TriBeCa we can have a large , very good coffee inside or out and enjoy the beautiful scenery ( both physical and human )over some good conversation. Thanks.
