Anne Frank House, Amsterdam

its about an hour for the tour, and its very sad. I had a day to myself, and Anna Frank was my frist pick of the day

...and you will not have to wait in a long que to get it. You'll just walk through the "online ticket" door. This is an amazing place that you should see.

Not like I had imagined but very cool. It was interesting to see how I could relate to Anne being a young girl with photos posted to the walls in her room.

i went in feb 08 it was a very sad yet happy place the thing about the photos on the wall to is she put them there most places in history are rebuilt but apart from a bit at the bottom the house is the way it was the joy and sadness was there i dont cry much but i had a tear in my eye and could feel her presence there i will go again for 7/8euro it is worth every bit small thing the shopis a bit tacky we allread about her more than once years ago why all the books etc is it right to sit dringing tea and cakes when this family lived on just about nothing god bless you anna

If you are in Amsterdam, go tour the Anne Frank House. History made its mark on this place and the well know story of Anne Frank is worth knowing. The sights around the House are classic Amsterdam. Water-ways, bikes, boats, streets, and buildings are what one expects to see while in Amsterdam. But the tour is interesting and good for ages 12+ I believe.

i liked looking at the different items that were once anne franks during the holocaust. there were items she left and her diary also. there was also a gift shop where you could buy holocaust books. you should try to visit around april. i went in april 2007 and it was amazing!

December 2007: Amsterdam is my favorite place in the world and now Annes house makes me want to visit again. When you visit you can feel the family still in the building and you won't want to leave. I don't think you can help feeling emotional and feel emotional when i think about the house even now. It makes you face up to the horrors of the time.

Words can not describe the feelings this place brings out. If your in Amsterdam and you don't go here, you should be ashamed of yourself.

we que for about 15mins and the wait was well worth it the house is a must for any one visiting the city. The visit took us about 2 hours and left us with a real feeling of what Anne must have gone thought in thoses long years.
