Bimhuis Jazz & Improvisation, Amsterdam

Bimhuis is located in the heart of the city and is a great place for any music-lover to spend an evening. This place has been the center of Dutch jazz culture, international projects and innovative ideas for 25 years. Music in all its forms can be heard here - contemporary jazz, impro-rock, blues, Latin and other world-music styles are just a small selection of what is performed at Bimhuis. Although most of the music featured here is rather contemporary, famous old school European and American jazz musicians like Charles Mingus and Max Roach have played here in the past. Besides hosting bands, Bimhuis also organizes many workshops and musical projects.
