Great looking Irish pub that looks like a cavern and probably has the best food of all the Irish pubs in Amsterdam. Here, you can get a full Irish breakfast or a tasty roast dinner. Its slogan is: "If you're thirsty, hungry or need to relax with friends, some of which you haven't met yet, where would you go? Molly's - and it lives up to its advertising. The atmosphere, like in most Irish pubs, is friendly and there is a nice community feeling here.

There is nothing to dislike about this great pub. Bernie, always remembers me and as a lone traveller this is most welcome. His colleagues are also friendly and the food and drink are second to none in an Amsterdam pub. I look forward to my next visit. David,Essex.

The real thing!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/12/09
Having lived in the UK for a few years I have come to miss the pub. Not only a decent pint and affordable food but also the living room type of atmosphere. Molly's has it all. Music, Footie - the lot.. Whenever there is a big game on, like United against Liverpool, the place is packed out with fans from both sides. Food, Ale and a healthy bit of rivalry present. Afterwards everyone has another pint either to forget or to celebrate but we all leave with a nostalgic feeling of this is what makes life worth living.

reunion sept 08
By Gary, 11/23/08
me and about 20 other ex kibbutz volunteers had a reunion after 25 years in mollys . not only is the location perfect as in coffee bars etc but it can be walked to from central station in under 10 mins ,but the staff were exceptional in all aspects ,even when they had been on very long shifts they still were totally professional . it can turn from being very private and discreet to full on fun in minutes .god bless em . i may even take the wife next year

I agree with other reviewers. Bernie and Kevin make the place a home from home and as I have been visiting for almost the ten years they have been open, obviously have no complaints. Food is excellent - be carefull not to over-order. I recommend the snack ribs as a taster. It is strange now that is serves breakfast for the residents of the France (hotel) next door. Late out at night and back in the morning?

The People & atmosphere on Molly Malones are the best you can find in Amsterdam. I didn't came to eat, and I was surprised that the food (especially Hamburger) was GREAT!!!

Great People Great Pub
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/06/07
Loved the Moly Malone and all who worked there. They were welcoming, friendly and it felt like home. Bernie was jovial and efficent-nothing was a problem to him. Kevin was equally as welcoming and efficient. He also knew the menu inside out and his recommendations were spot on.Watched the World Cup final here. MAGIC. If you are going to Amsterdam stop off here-you won't be sorry.

What a place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/21/05
The bar stuff and chef's are great, what an atmosphere that is created within Molly Malone's in Amsterdam. It is tucked away behind the St. Nicholas church on a canl and is just a great place to unwind and enjoy a pint of Guinness or whatever your favorite drink should be. If you do make it in ask for Bernie- he'll greet with an Irish welcome and have plenty of great stories to keep you enjoying the atmosphere! Enjoy!
