Cimitero Protestante, Rome

We arrived at Cimitero Protestante on a Sunday when it was closed so we could not enter we managed a couple of photos through the gates and of the gates themselves but that was it, as a consolation there were lots of pine cones on the floor around the gates dropped from a pine tree so we brought a couple of them home, we can always dream Oscar Wilde stood at those gates once upon a time, I dont know how long pine trees live it would be nice to think it was there when Oscar stood at the gates when visiting Keat's grave...Dino Carlucci
