Hidden Treasure in a Big City

We read about this place in our Frommer's Guide and were looking for a nice place for our last evening in Rome. We walked the area and finally found the restaurant just before it opened for dinner. We were lucky to get a table as a walk-in on a busy weekend evening (don't make that mistake; get a reservation).
We had a small table near the kitchen (every other table seemed to be reserved) but it was fascinating to see the drawers of freshly made pasta that were used for each order. The soups and pastas we had were fabulous. Service was attentive. For Rome, the prices were very reasonable.
We would go back in a heartbeat and do not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is looking for good regional cuisine (Emiliana Romagna) in a busy, trattorial-style room. If you are looking for a quiet, romantic dining experience, you would want to choose elsewhere
