We went there as the hotel recommended it for us,the service was so bad and waiter made fun of us because we did not want to order wine and we only ordered water with the food.as well he asked us to order once we came in the resturant and we asked him to give us 5 min to read the menu but he got so upset and said that the resturant will close at 4pm while we arrived to the resturant at 2:30pm
I will return to this restaurant someday; perhaps rent a room directly above.

Dominick was our waiter at Ristorante Ciro, where the orgasmic aromas of Italian cooking overwhelmed our senses. We ateeverything in sight. Antipasto, octopus, and the most incredible pizza. Then we topped it off with generous servings of 200% butterfat gelato. Our group of four agrees that this may be the best meal we have ever had in our lives! Recommend that you go at 1 PM for a late lunch, the waiters are less busy than dinner and heve time to get to know you.
I was on vacation and had two days in Naples. Ciro's was recommended via my hotel. What a amazing place, I went in by myself and it was full blooded Italian. The food was everything that a cookbook shows but can never deliver. I was only there a short while on Friday evening and the place was packed with lines out of the door.
That nite, I thought some local VIP was coming in. The waiters were hugging and kissing this guy like he was a movie star. No waiting on atble for him. I discretely asked who this guy was. I was shocked when I found out he was an English guy who called Nick. Long story short, the service and food I received was exceptional. You ever want ever want to receive service and food that even the locals never get. Then if Nick comes in when you are there. Get a table with him and what ever you do when they bring him the 23 old Rum bottle after dinner....get out fast.
