Description

Situated in a choice spot at the heart of Milan's chic shopping district (Via Montenapoleone, Via della Spiga, Via Manzoni and Piazza San Babila), this legendary restaurant, initially a popular lunchtime venue for downtown industrialists and bankers, became a big favourite with Milan's smart set during the 1980s. Little has changed since then and the restaurant remains high profile. Bice's menu features a selection of sublime soups, risottos and meat dishes.

MUST GO RESTURANT

This is the BEST Italian resturant in the world period. Its very tradition + the price is right + food cant be better. They have the best beef capacio in the world, once I had their I iterally stop eating raw kobe beef from any other resturant. I ate there 2 nights in a row, its just too good. I tried to have everything on the menu and I end up having indigestion. But hey, their food is just that good. Oh..and remember to reserve the table in advance

Terrible service, outstanding food

Party of 5. Got there on time. Had to wait 45 min to an hour before being seated. There was no hostess or maitre D' to greet us. Had to flag someone down to let them know we were there and got the feeling that we were inconveniencing them. The locals got the attention and the food first. Treated like sloppy seconds. Once the food hit the table, it was phenomenal. I hate to admit it, but the food was worth the long wait and the sloppy service.

best meal I've had in a long time

Dined at Bice on January 14th, 2008. Service and food both excellent. Group of 5, we started by sharing a large antipasto plate, mostly prosciutte di parma, dried beef. Risotto milanese (with saffron) was incredible, fish (orgatini sp?) melted in my muth. Tiramisu perfecto.

Disppaointed

Certainly not the right place to go if you're looking forward to your food and drink.....sloth like service. It took 20mins + to be asked our drinks orders and the food arrived in dribs and drabs. Once it was on the table, it couldn't be faulted, excellent food. The waiters were surly and the other customers were clearly more interested in other people and than own company. Had dinner in Santa Lucia the following night which was far more fun.

I cannot wait to be back

I have been coming to Milan from 1974 and still going there and I always go to Bice. This is one of the best ones in Milan the food is so good.
