The palace is great, the gardens could be better

The palace/museum is one of the best in Florence! The gardens I thought were a little run down, and for the 8 euro per person charge, i expected it to look more like the "jardin du luxembourg" in Paris, which is beautiful and free..... I actually think that Central Park in NYC is a lot nicer than the boboli gardens.
the one good thing about the garden though, is that if you are tired from touring all day and do not have the time or energy to bicycle or bus out of the city to the countryside, this is a great respite, to sit, enjoy the views and read "A room with a view" by E.M. Forster
